 Meet the Artist:

Bethanne Bethard Hill is a native of Alabama and has lived and worked full time as a painter and illustrator in Birmingham for many years. Her work is known for bold, stylized, southern landscapes, thick with animals, foliage, barns, and bottle trees. Australian Aboriginal Art and southern folklife are two strong influences on her work.
Bethanne lives and works in Birmingham, in a carriage house studio behind her home. She and her artist husband, Darius Hill, have three children, Olivia, Esme, and Atticus.
