Meet the Artist:
MATTEA began when Cayla Mattea Zeek pursued her life long passion for writing/art making in the spare time between going to college, working retail, and being a middle school art teacher. This often meant many late nights in the studio, and hustling most weekends to pop up at markets. MATTEA is the fusion of the wordplay bantering in the artist's mind, with her heart embracing flora, fauna, and culture in South Louisiana.
